I am fascinated by this tiny sea bird (weighing less than 500 grams) is common on the east coast of Newfoundland. Their tiny wings can beat up to 400 beats per minute and they can fly up to 50 km/hr. They have barbs in their mouth/beak that makes it easier to collect many small fish usually 10 at a time in one fishing expedition. They can live up to 20 years or longer.
